(RESISTANCE THERMOMETERS FOR MEASURING TEMPERATURE IN BEARINGS OF PUMPS, COMPRESSORS, ETC.)<\/p>

Resistance thermometers, of specific structures, are intended for measuring temperature in bearings of pumps, compressors, etc., where operating conditions are difficult due to the presence of strong vibrations and shocks.<\/p>

Resistance thermometer is mounted directly on the bearing housing of the pump, compressor, etc., via a suitable threaded process connection.<\/p>

Electrical connection is made through a special connection head, through multi-pin circular connectors (male-female set) of suitable size.<\/p>

Basic parts of resistance thermometer are as follows:<\/p>

– specific connection head,<\/p>

– specific neck tube,<\/p>

– mantel measuring insert,<\/p>

– set of circular connectors (male-female set) of suitable size,<\/p>

– process connection (Whithworth, metric threads, etc.).<\/p>

Connection head of resistance thermometer can be of various dimensions and shapes, and it is defined by the drawing according to the operating conditions.<\/p>

Measuring insert is in mantel design with different types of resistance sensor.<\/p>

Advantages:<\/p>

– connection of the sensor and the lines is in highly compressed magnesium oxide, without the presence of oxygen,<\/p>

– fast response,<\/p>

– great resistance to vibrations and shocks,<\/p>

– higher reliability in operation,<\/p>

– longer service life.<\/p>

Technical characteristics:<\/strong><\/p>

Basic technical characteristics are specified in the technical documentation, which is prepared for each type of resistance thermometer, upon user request, and primarily depends on the place of installation.<\/p>

– constant (achieved by means of a process connection that is welded to neck tube),<\/p>

– adjustable (achieved by means of a compression connection, which is movable along neck tube).<\/p>

Process connections can be of different shapes and dimensions, upon customer request.<\/p>

– power plants,<\/p>

– food industry,<\/p>

– pharmaceutical industry,<\/p>

– construction machines, plants, containers…<\/p>
